It's neither. It's based on a '73 Ford Falcon, but was built specially for the movie, right down to the Wieand blower that could be activated from the cockpit.

Oh, DD, all those mean things you have said about me? I now forgive you by the fact that I know you have great taste cars. I love this car. I have a framed poster at the house (wife won't let me hang it anywhere). It's 25 yrs old and the car still looks great.
