Bucs at Pats 1:30 PM ET
Chiefs at Giants 5:00 ET
Broncos at Bills 8:30 ET
Yahoo sports says:
" The Cincinnati Bengals look to clinch their first division title and playoff berth since 1990 when they meet the Detroit Lions." *(tomorrow 4 pm)
...and I hear disgruntled Lions fans will show their displeasure for owner, etc. by wearing orange!
Well... they were on their 25 yd line.
Do the Giant have someone out due to injury for today's game? Someone told me that their defensive end was out with a high ankle injury.
Antonio Pierce is out for the regular season.
I think the only game the Cowboys had locked up early was that MNF game against the Eagles.
Everything else has been a damn nailbiter. I just want a victory.
I read early this week that the skins were picked by 3 1/2.
Is that still the case?
I cant believe that would be the case.
His injury is still bothering him some, and the Jets probably feel like they overpaid, which is why they will likely release him. He should be completely healthy next year, although he may have lost a step, which is why I think he may be best suited to play the safety position. He's always been pretty tough and nasty, which is what you want in a safety. I'll never forget the way he shut down Marvin Harrison a couple of years ago in the AFC Semis, and did such a good job, the Colts whined about it for months until they got the rules adjusted to their liking.
And their starting tackles are likely out. Not good for Manning's sake. Pierce out at MLB will really hurt their run stopping. Not good going against the NFL's most potent rushing attack right now. Chiefs should win a close one.
Okay...I've never heard of him - but then again, I never keep up with the other teams.
I was hoping it was more of a big playmaker for them... a
The 'Skins were favored by 3. It's been bet down to 2.5
Today at 5 PM Eastern on CBS. Chiefs at Giants. Big big game.
As for your question texianyankee, the G-men injury report...

Gotta get Pierce and the OTs back to have any shot at making noise in the playoffs.
Thanks...I'm not someone who roots for another team's player being out due to injury - but I was hoping it was Strahan when I was told there was a defensive end injured.
Thanks - much appreciated for the updated report.
No offense to Giant fans, but I still think Sheli is a punk for having his Daddy bytch and moan enough about him not wanting to go to the Chahhgers.
It must be strictly the home field advantage factor, then.
I had read the Boyz were favored to win against the chiefs - after the victory.
Home field is always worth 3 points.
The weather isnt going to be bad in DC tomorrow, right?
Yes, home field is usually worth 3 points, so, yes, the only reason the 'Skins are favored this week and the 'Boys last week is/was home field.
