but I'm pretty pleased that it at least looks like it was made by a higher primate...

I have seen one of those on TV quite a bit the last couple of days.

Has anyone seen King Kong? From the previews, it looks like it should at least be entertaining, though I don't have any high hopes for it beyond that...

I saw the Narnia movie on Monday. Thought they did a good job on it. Some things weren't as I'd pictured them, but they did stick to the book pretty well (except for PCifying things like Father Christmas telling Susan and Lucy they didn't belong in battle). It was light-years beyond the BBC ones, but I guess that goes without saying. No visible zippers on the beavers...or any animals with human lips...

I've been trying to see the Narnia movie since last Friday...I just can't seem to find the time (as I sit in a coffeeshop FReeping).

Has anyone seen King Kong?

I haven't, wanted to but I was listening to Glen Beck today and his review was "Don't bother"

I'm between jobs again (last was a contract that got cut short early because of budget cuts), so I have all the free time in the world, sadly.

I want to see King Kong, too. But he ain't got nothin' on me!

Question: What movie is that from?

By the way, I'm about ready to puke from the sappy poetry.

I have`nt and don`t know if I care to.
I love the original (Fay Wray was not really blonde) and kind of view a remake as a knock off.

My expectations are so low I might just enjoy it anyway...

There's plenty of room in the world for slightly cheesy movies! Though...the length is kinda intimidating.
