Now if it were a story of gay lovers without the adultery angle, that wouldn't make it any more uplifting. Try as one might, there's a reason for heterosexual love. Hollywood can elide over it all it wants but just because depravity is now politically correct doesn't make it right.

True. I was just pointing out to the poster (by making the movie synopsis generic) that the issue of immorality was one that should be condemned regardless of the sexual tendencies of the immoral people. But you are right, the movie tries to make homosexuality acceptable and sympathetic while demonizing those who disagree with the homosexual lifestyle. I shouldn't have let that slip.

The real villian in this movie is apparently "homophobia" because it picks out the worse aspects of anti-gay behavior, i.e., murder, and highlights it. So, yes, the entire movie to my mind is objectionable. I should have made that clear.
