I'm not sure if my premise was clear to you... I was saying how this film is not a simple promotion of homosexuality or breaking up families. It certainly IS about homosexuality. (I never said it wasn't!) But it's explaining the actual problem homosexuals face-- feeling sexual and emotional attraction to their own sex -- and yet society around them does nothing but scare them into not dealing with it in any sort of healthy way. You seriously have to read the story or know the film. In my mind, the implications are great for true Christians who actually try to *improve* the lives of people in the world. To understand gays better certainly doesn't mean you're going to condone evil in everyone else.

And you're right, it is a movie. Unfortunately many others in these threads are using the movie as some excuse to just randomly bash gay people. There's not even any explanation other than "God says they're evil," -- you might as well start calling blind and deaf people evil, too.

The bottom line(you should pardon the pun!) is that homosexuals have overplayed their hand. I am all for giving that group whatever rights they feel that they need, but any rational human being can see that they've grabbed everything in sight. Just like looters, they've smashed and grabbed...only they did it with our children.
Schools are the largest target, and media(i.e. ABC Family and Disney)

I don't care what homosex people do in the privacy of their homes, however, I am appalled at the way they constantly chip away at any sense of public decency(how's that for a throwback!!!) or the stone hard fact that they are after children. The homosex agenda/NAMBLA/ACLU triumvirate has created an atmosphere that endorses and encourages child rape by any adult with a lust for young flesh. Witness the proliferation of teen males being raped by older women schoolteachers.

Homosex is 24/7 sexual material all the time. Your innocent young child can watch 'Will&Grace' any time. It is an afterschool program now. Why do FR'ers with kids not wage war on this pox? My own kids are grown, but I am here to tell you, I would not have a TV, INTERNET, or BETMTVVH1MSM in my home if I had young kids. TV and schools are telling little children that they have the RIGHT to pursue a sexual relationship wih a 50+ male homosexual. How's that for PC BS? If the war begins at home, I say we protect the kids and prosecute the homosexuals.

OK. FR mods say that there is no such being as ChigacoGuy12, so I must consider that this post is a 'hit and run'. Fine by me. My unbridled resentment of the homosex agenda is known far and wide. I will sleep well tonight!

I have two questions could they have told the story without the sex part? I am sick to death of any movie always thinking that people want to see them naked or moaning and groaning during sex. Now that we are talking about gay sex, I do not want to ever see gay sex in a movie now or ever. And that is exactly what they are looking to gain for their agenda. If we can just get comfortable about seeing two men having sex we can look forward to more of it. Anything that comes out of hollywood is not about love not a true love story, not any more. They have taken upon themselves to sexualize everything they touch. Even the lives they lead. And for that matter let them try and make a movie where a gay guy has come to terms with his lifestyle and changed through the love he found with Christ. It has happened but you will never see it and I can promise you anyone trying it would receive death threats. Real love is not in a movie real love was on the cross. My son has a good friend who is gay and I can see how difficult it is for him when he hears anything that is not postive in accepting the life style. But I can bet he would not have the desire to go see this movie brokeback mountain.
