This comedy is about two guys who decide to rig the Special Olympics to pay off a
debt by having one of them, Steve (Knoxville), pose as a contestant in the games,
hoping to dethrone reigning champion, Jimmy. Mentally-challenged high jinks and
hilarity surely follow.

Oh I definitely saw this on SP.

Didn't Cartman lose anyway?

As the father of a 3yo w/Down syndrome, I kind of cringed when I first heard about the movie. The Special Olympics did endorse the flick, though. It supposedly does a good job of breaking down the stereotypes of not only people with Ds, but other disabilities as well.
If you find the Farrelly Bros. funny (which I do), it's their pretty typical, irreverent fare. If you find them offensive and childish, you're probably not going to like the movie.

It looks like it will be pretty close to the South Park episode, where Cartman tries to win by pretending to be "special". Doesn't work of course, and is a pretty funny episode.

I saw the trailer for this one when I went to see Saw 2 (surprisingly effective thriller, by the way) this weekend. I laughed in spite of myself. The South Park episode where Cartman tries out for Special Olympics was genius, this film just had appeared to have a bunch of prat falls, and every other scene seemed to involve Johnny Knoxville nutting himself and making whacky expressions.
For the folks who loved Jackass (and I admit, I laughed at that film), this is high art.

I particularly like the scene in the SP ep where Cartman practices being retarded by watching videos of Kid Rock.

ROFLMAO! I laugh every time I see him in that getup.
He's funny to start with, but damn, was that episode hilarious!

I'm not following your question? It doesn't seem to connect with my post. Maybe you responded to someone else's post? Happens to me often.
But to answer your question, I don't know any person...err male person...that doesn't laugh at fart jokes, whether that male has full faculties or is mentally challenged.
