IMHO, perhaps not the most 'powerful' but for me intense opeing scenes was Stallone's Cliffhanger. I couldn't believe he was going to drop the girl, even the second time I watched it I was white knuckling the chair I was sitting in.
Was that the movie with Janine Turner? She is TOTAL eye candy to me!!!
