Sands of Iwo Jima
Forrest Tucker, after the fight with John Wayne, telling him what he done, and Stryker, in a moment that defines Stryker's reason for being a hard-ass Marine (IMO):
"A lot of guys make mistakes, I guess, but every one we make, a whole stack of chips goes with it. We make a mistake, and some guy don't walk away - forevermore, he don't walk away."

Brian's Song. When Gale Sayers talks to the team in the locker room. Gives me goose bumps just thinking about it and I haven't seen the movie in years.

I saw that as a youngen and it was powerful, though Alan Ladd seemed too wimpy for my taste in cowboy heros. I may need to see it again though, to get an eyeful of Wyoming!

Unfortunately, as delicious as Kim Bassinger was in that flick, Micki Rourke ruined it for me. You mean there were other people in the movie besides Kim. I missed that part.

Dr Zhivago is such a great movie. They don't make 'em like that anymore.

The movie is a cult classic....John Goodman should have won an Osacar for his role but it was apparently dinied to him because Fargo won two Oscars the previous year (?). The Coen Brothers are great here as they are in Fargo.
In fact, fans of the movie organize the http://www.lebowskifest.com/
