Do you think that they'll gun for 16-0 or that they will rest the A-Team? Goodness knows Peyton and Marvelous Marvin could use some rest. I hope they'll go for the perfect season, but I doubt they will.
Them boys are gettin' snowed on right now. Go Stillers!
Well, that's all debatable, I guess. I have enough seasons behind me to remember watching Brown play, and lemme tell ya, he was the BEST all around back I've ever seen. Bush has that unique combination of speed, athleticism, power and field intelligence that makes me think of Jim Brown. Have a look at some of his highlights, and remember that he only played 9 seasons the seasons had fewer games back then:
Career Highlights:
291 Rushing Attempts in 1963
1863 Rushing Yards in 1963
17 Rushing TDs in 1958 and 1965
47 Pass Receptions in 1962
517 Yards Receiving in 1962
5 Receptions for TDs in 1962
7 Years of 1200+ Rushing Yards
4 Years of 1500+ Rushing Yards
12,312 Career Yards Rushing
2499 Career Yards Receiving
126 Career TDs
6th in NFL in Rushing Yards
4th in NFL in Rushing TDs
5th in NFL in TDs
lol..I hated watching the Bills lose to the Dolphins that way, uugghhh.
The Pats look pretty good so far, but its early.
I don't know...I guess winning the Super Bowl would be the first priority but the urge to achieve perfection is tempting. I probably would rest the players at halftime for the remaining games...try to come out and get a big lead with the starters and then let it slide, we will see.
December 9, 2005 NEW YORK (AP) -- Chicago Bears offensive linemen Olin Kreutz and Fred Miller were fined $50,000 each Friday for a fight that violated the NFL's personal conduct policy.
The players were involved in the fight last month at the FBI shooting range in the Chicago area, prompting an internal investigation by the bureau.
Fighting at a shooting range? That could have escalated. Luckily there was no whiskey involved.
Bills return the favor by picking off Brady int the EZ w/ 8 seconds left in the first half -- Pats 14, Bills 0
I don't foresee any miracle comebacks by Buffalo in this game, however...
Looks like Chris and Carnell are working on a upset in Charlotte ...
Halftime 10 - Zip Buccaneers
LOL...yeah I saw that story. Fighting at a shooting range, too much! Bears don't look so good YET...
Jacksonville is getting owned in its own stadium by an Indy team that's for real. When Jaguars are resorting to late hits and outright assaults (IMHO one or both should be prosecuted - that was simply outrageous) you know they're outclassed. I came into the game with no particular loyalty to either team, but I am rooting for the Colts now.
what would be neat if the Cowboys would wear their 1967 retro uniforms (not the 1960s' which they are 0-2 this year) and the Chiefs would wear the uniforms of the AFL's Dallas Texans. That would rule!
Well, considering how things are, they'll get a week off between Week 17 and the Divisional Round anyway. I say go for the perfect record.
The entire Bear team needs to get their collective HEAD out of their behinds...no converting third downs, bad passing, DEFENSE=no sacks, no fumbles or int's...the list goes on and on...
IF the Bears manage to squeek this one out, look for Wrecked Grossman next week...Orten is getting more patheticker as the game goes on.
The Clowns are looking good. Cincy's defense hasn't found an answer yet.
Just watched the last series...I agree, if Chicago doesn't get going here real fast they will lose, and by a fair margin at that.
damn...Pats marching and a tipped pass gets Bills interception...I hate that. This could change everything....
LOOK AT THAT SNOW!!!! wow
