Oh, the MVPs are these experts on Microsoft Office apps. They write white papers and articles for Microsoft. <giggle> I have this Word expert on the ropes!

Green Linnet has a lot you can listen to...whole CDs. But they require RealPlayer (*hack**spit*).
Other than that...dunno! I know there are Celtic on-line stations, but I haven't used any recently. And if you don't have decent bandwidth, they aren't going to work very well.

I got really good ideas from Amazon actually.
They have a "gift guide" that gives suggestions based on the person you're buying for.
But in a pinch, giftcards are always nice to receive.

I have a few family members that generally get giftcards. It really feels like a cop out, but they're sooooo hard to buy for.
My youngest sister is the easiest. I always have to restrict myself from buying everything I see that I think she'd like, or I'd go broke....

I think some of the Green Linnet compilations are on sale right now. I have a couple...they're pretty nice.
I've kinda been on a classical kick lately. And discovered I'm missing the CD binder that contained most of my classical music. *sigh* I'm hoping it's at home and they just haven't mentioned it, and it didn't get lost somehow in the move.

Same here.
There is no real downside to giving someone a gift card. Well, other than the fact that they know ~exactly~ what you spent on them.
Which is the embarrassment equivalent to leaving the price tag on a gift. :-/
But at least they buy something you know they'll like with it, so no one is left buying a gift that the recipient may never use.

Heh...I think my Dad almost intentionally leaves price tags on stuff, 'cause he thinks all the fuss over that is silly. But yeah, I know what you mean.
Dad and one brother are the hardest. Dad doesn't like fuss of any kind, so getting him some sort of luxury item or fancy food he wouldn't buy for himself doesn't really work. CDs and books are good, but I usually don't know what he already has. Hence things like Amazon gift cards work well!

It's tricky when you know what the person has a passion for and exactly what to get, but that very passion makes it so difficult to buy something for them that they don't already have!
