Oh, lovely 'do'. Are they going to put flowers in it?
Eek! I'll be extra careful posting to you from now on.
But just to show you, here's the cousin...
...and here's the fiancee (the kids' mom>
...and the moral of the story is, don't get goofy around someone with a digital camera :)
Not bad. I think that's about $15 more than I paid fer it.
I'm gonna grab a shower and get to bed early.
Nighty night everyone!
Nighty nite!!! :-)
I don't care who you are, bad strings are bad strings. My ears may never recover.
Plus, Luke decided he wanted to go. I have officially been wallered senseless...
I dunno... bad woodwinds can be pretty excruciating too...
I would think Dwarves would be used to... oh, wait, *wood*winds.
Nevermind!
It weren't the dwarves stinkin' up this place.
Wife and I came away with the thought that the band program is stronger than the choral and orchestra program. Jr. confirmed our suspicions.
Choral director is new. The combined choir was good. But he had way too many special ensembles singing acapella.
That's fine when you can stay on pitch...that's all I'm sayin'...
Heh, so was I. Wouldn't THAT have been COOL!
I think school music programs are always a little torturous... ;~D
Your cousin looks like you! Hope the bride doesn't plan to wear those antlers at the wedding. ;o)
Wallered?
Well, here's a bit of a BA CHEF update...it's been a while.
Usually we meet the second Tuesday of each month, you know? Remember how the *other* group tried to get us to change nights and we voted not to? Well, every other year before this year, we skipped December. We didn't have a meeting the second Tuesday of December.
Well, this year we decided to have our "Mom's Night Out" on the second Tuesday instead of the third just in December. (Usually we all get together for food fun and fellowship on the 3rd Tuesday evening...in the past, maybe a half dozen ladies would show up...usually 3-4, but ever since we reorganized, we have never had less than 12 and have had as many as 18 ladies show!)
So *last month* we started planning to meet at this restaurant on the 2nd Tuesday and have our fellowship early.
Well, *guess who* decided to do the exact same thing.
At the exact same restaurant at the exact same time.
I almost didn't go. I didn't want to deal with the situation. But decided I would go because I'd committed to it.
I am SO glad I went! There was a dozen of us ladies and we had a great time...our usual fun and laughter and encouragement.
And the other group was there too. Their leader and 3 other ladies.
Remember...there's 42 ladies in our group. There's over 100 in theirs.
Heh...
Steve would tell you yes. He took one look at me when I sat down after I came in and said "Sweet revenge?"
I was praying all the way to the MNO...askin' the Lord to keep me from blurting out something rude like "You're a WHITE-WASHED SEPULCHER! But then I also said that I knew that what they had done wasn't right and "wouldn't it be all right if we did were blessed with a larger crowd?" LOL
I know, I'm terrible.
~grin~
Hehehe. Sounds great, 2J. Remember, coals of fire!
Sweet! Good to hear!
We played hookey today. All we did academically was paint a Christmas present for my mom at Paint-n-Party and read three chapters in "The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe." Tomorrow we are going to a friend's house to play a phonogram game (from Spell to Write and Read) and call it spelling. Then we have choir, and aterwards, off the Kids Club to play with KarateBoy's best friend. We are taking it real easy this week.
Mom's present actually won't be ready by Christmas, but it will be fired by New Years' Day.
What's this?
