Barbra Streisand...She berates capitalists and conservatives for their "indifference to the suffering of many" and speaks of the need for labour unions to protect a "living wage." Yet one of her former employees recalls that she...

Then there's Michael Moore. The back cover of the book is a quote from Moore saying "I don't own a single share of stock" above a list of stocks held in Moore's name, which includes shares in Halliburton (the company he denounced as run by a bunch of "thugs"), Honeywell and Boeing. Moore comes off as the most egregious offender in the volume (in a phone interview, Schweizer said while "all 11 are really bad, Moore seems to be particularly pathological, in the way everything he says is 180 degrees from what he does"). In other words, the biggest, fattest hypocrite.

I would like to read more of the story.
But this post seems like a blatant attempt to simply increase traffic on their website.

"
Some of the examples would be funny if they weren't so sad. Senator Ted and the other Kennedys have been tireless cheerleaders for alternative energy -- until they caught wind (so to speak) of a plan to build wind turbines off the coast where they have their compound in Hyannis Port. Robert Kennedy Jr., who had been beating the drum for alternate energy sources for more than a decade, complained the project would be built in one of the family's favourite sailing and yachting areas."

Reminds me of a comment I once heard from a liberal aquaintance of mine. This guy is a self-avowed communist and complains about how the rich get so many breaks and how evil conservatives are because we "don't care" about the poor. But then he proudly claimed that he enjoys a "higher level of consciousness" than the poor fellow that pumps his gas (we're in NJ where attendants pump gas for you - they are usually poor immigrants). I always wondered why this fool would want the world to be run by the workers, when he thinks these same workers are semi-conscious drones.

Lol!
Don't drink too much during the holidays fellas or you might end up on the Ted Kennedy calendar.
See Mr. February--I hate when that happens.

I don't know what's worse, a limousine liberal or a limousine nazi. :-)

No, there's a difference between saying you're a socialist, and actually being a socialist. When you're rich, it's easy to say you're a socialist, hard to be one.
