Britney Spears kicked Kevin Federline out of her Malibu mansion because she allegedly 'wants to punish him'.

Angry Britney booted Federline from their luxury home last week — sparking fears their marriage may be over.

The couple's relationship has allegedly been on the rocks since Britney gave birth to their son Sean Preston in September.

While she has been left caring for the baby, fun-loving Federline has carried on with his party hard lifestyle.

Britney is 'furious' Kevin has not settled down to help her care for Sean Preston.

She has even decided to repossess the $200,000 Ferrari sports car she bought Kevin.

And she is determined to stop him bringing home drug addict friends.

Her patience snapped last week when Federline allegedly brought a friend known as 'weedman' into their house.

After she kicked Federline out he went to stay at the luxurious Beverly Hills Hotel.

The pop princess' mother Lynne has stepped up to help her daughter — who wants to repossess Kevin's $200,000 ($A265,000) Ferrari.

"Britney is furious with Kevin and wants to punish him," a source told the New York Post.

"She is trying to repossess the $200,000 Ferrari she bought him.

"She is sick and tired of his partying ways and the constant flow of drug addicts coming in and out of his home."

After kicking Federline out Britney went partying with friends at trendy Los Angeles club LAX.

But his marital difficulties have not stopped Federline trying to enjoy life.

He partied with pals in Los Vegas over the weekend, dancing at club Tao until 4.30am.

His actions have not impressed his mother-in-law, Lynne Spears.

"The problem is Britney's mom. She hates Kevin," another source told the Post.

"Since the day Britney had the baby she has not left Britney's side.

"She moved into the hospital during the birth, and when Britney left the hospital, the mother moved into the house.

"Lynne insists on doing everything for the baby.

"She feeds it, she cleans it, she bathes it, and she won't let Kevin touch him.

"She says Kevin holds it wrong, that he doesn't know what he is doing — he has two other kids!

"Britney gets mad when he complains because she says 'My mom is doing everything, leave her alone'.

"Kevin can't leave Britney because she's got all the money, but it's awful.

"Her mum hates him, and she won't get out of the house.

"The mum and everyone around Britney is telling her to get rid of Kevin.

"But Kevin isn't going anywhere — Britney is picking up the bills."

Spears, 24, and unemployed dancer Federline, 27, got engaged in June 2004, with Britney reportedly paying for her own engagement ring.

The couple tied the knot in September 2004 in a garden of a home in Studio City, California.

A representative for Spears did not return calls for comment.

Char was interviewed by Billy Bush on MSNBC last night and she was giggling through the entire interview. Says Fed is a "great dad" and that she's never allowed weed in her home.

Spears could do the world a favor if she went back and remarried that Jason Alexander guy and faded into obscurity.

Alexander however probably has better things to do with his time.

I think you're right.

Char Jackson is probably chuckling right now.

Not unless she can sue Mrs. Federline for child support.

I would assume that as soon as the former Miss Spears' parents, handlers and agents convince her to divorce her husband, Kevin Federline will join the twilight crew of impecunious hangers-on/occasional drug peddlers/entourage members who lurk around Hollywood.

Back-up dancers are a dime a dozen, I'm tentatively operating on the assumption that his hiphop career will not take off, he can't act and I can't imagine that he is capable of holding down a straight job to support his kids.

Miss Jackson has already said that she unsuccessfully tried to get him to look for a job for more than a year before he took up with the former Miss Spears.

For her kids' sake, Shar Jackson is probably hoping that the Federlines will be able to make their marriage work.

This is shattering news. Fortunately there are still a couple of weeks to get back in the Christmas mood before it is over.

And she didn't notice all this crap until now? What an idiot.

Obviously, since he's nothing to look at, either.

A lot of very attractive women seem to go for guys who look/act like he does.

It's a mystery to me - but it's an empirical fact.

Theodore Dalrymple, the British doctor and social commentator, suggests that it's because they have nothing inside -- no character, no real interests, no intellectual formation -- and so, in order to feel alive, they go from one dramatic relationship with a creep to another.

It's a shame about the baby, though. I'd be happy to have him, and so would plenty of other stable families.

Interesting theory.

Both Britney Spears and Shar Jackson, as attractive, socially outgoing young women with lots of free time and mobility, should have been able to find intelligent, hardworking and handsome men to date and/or marry.

Yet they both settle on this shiftless, unemployable, deadbeat loser.

It's a relatively common phenomenon in everyday life as well.

I see my wife's friends - attractive, professional women - who are living with or engaged to sponging losers for years and years.

Then they get cheated on and often breakup.

Nothing's sadder than a woman who has spent her time from age 25 to age 35 with one or two thoroughly irresponsible, unmarriageable nitwits and then, after his antics have aged her mentally and physically beyond her years she is despondent because she can't find a good, serious guy to marry.

I've seen a few of those. I have three female cousins - smart, pretty women - and the youngest just got married at 27. The other two are 33 and 35, and both still single, after this-and-that relationship over the years. Their parents are disappointed that they have no grandchildren after all this time.

We have similar families. My wife has cousins like this: one broke up with a man 5 years ago who was perfect for her - good loooking, athletic guy with a business degree and a great job, funny, gentlemanly, considerate - my wife and I considered him a good friend, not just her boyfriend.

But after dating for two years, he wanted to get more serious and, at the age of 28 she felt she was "too young" to get serious.

So she broke up with him. Since then she's been dating a guy for almost 4 years whom she has zero intention of ever marrying.

She complains to my wife about her situation constantly - about how she feels stupid because her old boyfriend got married last year, how she doesn't love the current guy but loved the old one, etc.
