AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1781) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | December 6, 2005 | All of Us

Posted on 12/06/2005 6:11:39 PM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

John sKerry on Disgrace the Nation answering a comment from Bob Schieffer ["Democrat Senator Joe Lieberman of Connecticut, he takes a very different view, Senator Kerry. He says basically that we should stay the course, because he says real progress is being made. He says, 'This is a war between 27 million Iraqis who want freedom and 10,000 terrorists.' He says we're in a watershed transformation. What about that"]:

I don't agree with that. But I think what we need to do is recognize what we all agree on, which is, you've got to begin to set benchmarks for accomplishment; you've got to begin to transfer authority to the Iraqis, and there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the -- of -- of -- of -- historical customs, religious customs, whether you like it or not. Iraqis should be doing that.

Sadda, announced today that he will attend "an unjust court."

In Berlin, Secretary Rice stressed the United States does not condone torture.

And an Iranian military plane has crashed, killing 128.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Flute choirs are cool. Love the sound.

Are you doing all 3 sections of Messiah or just the Christmas section?

I see that Saddam is taking Ramsey Clark's advice and adopting the '60s Civil Disobedience approach to delay and disrupt his own trial.

They should just do it in absentia and drag his sorry carcass in for the sentencing and out to the gallows.

And by the way, they should hang him the way the Royal Navy used to do it, by putting the noose around his neck and hoisting him up, not dropping him. No quick out with a broken neck for this cat!

I spent 4 of my 32 years in the Army under this piece of garage, too! It was disgusting!

I heard that too. My impression is that it refers to some of the huge Protestant churches who normally have a Christmas Eve service but nothing on Christmas Day. Some of them have chosen to continue this tradition even though Christmas falls on a Sunday this year.

I'm been out of the loop news-wise. What will the President's speech be about?

Hooray! It posted as a link :-) Now, I am off to the clinic. Fortunately, it is above freezing today. Yesterday's drive was like Mr. Toad's wild ride. Country roads were sanded, but Hwy 53 and Hwy 101 were skating rinks.

We left the ELCA in September. Totally fed up with their liberal and antisemetic crap. Joined a LCMS church in Ashburn with the intention of transferring to the mission church being established in Leesburg. We are now active and loving every minute of it! I got shanghied onto the launch committee and at the first meeting I attended last night, the Vicar announced that our constitution had been approved by district and effective 1 January 2006, we would become not a mission, but a full-fledged congregation!

We had our first service last Sunday at the elementary school where we will be meeting until our Early Childhood Learning Center is built. It was special and what made it really that way was the number of familiar, smiling faces from our old church.

I made an altar cross out of myrtle wood for the new church. For our first few services, the altar will be the Duchess' cutting table and the altar cloth a table cloth that belonged to her late Grandmother. I have designed a portable altar for us and the design was approved, so that is my Christmas project.

Life is good and God comes to all of us in the most interesting of ways!
