Well Rush got the last laugh judging by McNabb's horrible aborted season.

I'd have to say that Rush was wrong in his judgment of McNabb. He turned out to be an excellent QB who got his team to the Super Bowl. That he got injured doesn't change that.

But being wrong is not a firing offense - if it were there would be no sports journalists left. He was fired for being un-PC. In contrast ESPN is treating Irvin with super-kid gloves.

Not really, to be honest. The guy was playing with a sports hernia for the majority of the season.

Michael Irvin was the one who responded that "Rush has a point" after Rush made his assessment of McNabb.
