I saw that documentary, and it is unintentionally hilarious. Didn't you note that the band members got fed up over time with their useless, $40,000-a-month, psychobabbling Dr. Phil? Their management company apparently foisted that dork onto them. He was so very effective that instead of continuing to work with him, James Hetfield took off out of the blue for rehab elsewhere. Having to listen to Dr. Phil probably drove him right over the edge. :)
I didn't catch the beginning, so I didn't see who hired the Dr Phil guy. I thought the band members did plenty of psychobabblng on their own. I couldn't figure out why they released that documentary at all, unless they are trying to convince every last fan that the men behind the curtain are a bunch of ninnies.
