I feel bad for Jessica Simpson and Nick. Personally, I couldn't care less about them and their lives. But the media keeps blasting them to the forefront of my conciousness. While they did put themselves into the public spotlight, it seems that the media can't wait to spread more rumors about their failing mariage.

She's the butt of jokes, many of which are just downright mean. She seems like a nice enough girl, and I don't know (or care) if she's not too bright. I just wish that they would be left alone to live out their lives as they see fit.

I think he was a youth minister. I can't imagine a youth minister letting his daughter get involved in such a career much less manage it.

He was a Youth Minister and a professor and Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, texas where I went to school. He was a professor while I was there and nothing like he is today! The man has lost himself clearly and he has sold his daughters/family to the Hollywood world. There is no glimpse of his love for Christ anymore. Truly sad.
