The final straw in the Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachey separation may have been what took place in Florida just before the last NASCAR race of the season. Nick was in Miami to wave the starting flag at the Ford 400 NASCAR Nextel Cup, and reportedly spent some wild times with the boys that weekend.

Lachey and fellow newly single pal A.J. DiScala hit Miami Beach nightclub Mansion at around 1 a.m. Saturday, unwittingly walking into a party hosted by Hustler publisher Larry Flynt and porn star Ron Jeremy. Once they realized they were at an X-rated bash, Lachey and DiScala beat a hasty retreat.
The next night, after the NASCAR race in Homestead, Fla., Lachey (sans wedding ring) hosted a private party at the hot new South Beach hotel The Setai with brother Drew and DiScala. About 30 revelers, including NASCAR driver Michael Waltrip, drank Grey Goose vodka at the courtyard bar, while Lachey occasionally left his group of buddies to chat with one pretty blonde guest.
Just after 1 a.m., Lachey and his crew headed to a private NASCAR party hosted by racer Jeff Gordon at a waterfront home on the exclusive Hibiscus Island near South Beach.

I've also heard some quotes that made it sound like Nick was jealous of jessica's career.

I don't really care about about either one of these people. The only thing I can say about ol' Nick is that I won't ever be posting here picture here.
I'd be estatic if i had a hot wife who made more money then i did.
I feel bad for Jessica Simpson and Nick. Personally, I couldn't care less about them and their lives. But the media keeps blasting them to the forefront of my conciousness. While they did put themselves into the public spotlight, it seems that the media can't wait to spread more rumors about their failing mariage.
She's the butt of jokes, many of which are just downright mean. She seems like a nice enough girl, and I don't know (or care) if she's not too bright. I just wish that they would be left alone to live out their lives as they see fit.

Her Chicken of the Sea bit was hilarious. I thought of their program as an updated I Love Lucy.

I think he was a youth minister. I can't imagine a youth minister letting his daughter get involved in such a career much less manage it.
I think his complaint is that she is not home because she is off being successful while his album flopped.
He was a Youth Minister and a professor and Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, texas where I went to school. He was a professor while I was there and nothing like he is today! The man has lost himself clearly and he has sold his daughters/family to the Hollywood world. There is no glimpse of his love for Christ anymore. Truly sad.
