That's wonderful news Christie.
Thank you for the update.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for watching over Carlo.
Please help him as he recovers from
surgery.
Thank You Jesus.
Amen.
Carlo, I hope you're doing great. Do you remember there being two different kinds of cocolate-covered cherries? One kind had a clear liquid inside, and the other had a thicker milky liquid? "May the Good Lord take a likin' to you!" (Remembering Roy Roger's best song.)
CHRISTMAS JEWELS
Note: Substitution: Sugar-Free Jello
Substitution: Lite Whipped Cream
One .6 oz package of lime Jell-o
One .6 oz package of cherry or
raspberry Jell-o
DIRECTIONS:
Make jello according to package
directions. Set jello in separate
pans. Chill until firm.
Cut the Jell-o into squares.
Put the squares intoindividual
parfait glasses or individual bowls
with the green and red jello squares.
Spray the whipped cream on top of each
serving. Sprinkle red and green candy sprinkles
on top (optional).
Serve immediately.
That is a great recipe.
My husband used to make it every year.
We're still praying for you Carlo.
Hope you're up and at it real soon.

THE HOME COFFEE BAR
Once in awhile,
I like to set out a home-made coffee bar on the counter
next to the desserts on special occasions. I set it up after
dinner. It looks like this, but varies each year.
1 big coffee pot filled with hot perked coffee
1 electric pot of hot water
Whipped Cream (Lite Whipped Cream)
French Vanilla Ice-Cream (Lite Ice Cream)
Cinnamon
Apple Pie Spice
Pumpkin Pie Spice
Chocolate Chips
Chocolate Mints
Other sprinkles for coffee
Lipton Black Tea
Green Tea
Lemon Tea
It's great. Everyone makes their own beverage
to go along with dessert.
Correction:
That is a great recipe.
My step-mother used to make it every year.

Praying for you, dear Carlo. Hope your surgery went well, and that you are resting and healing. You inspired me to start eating healthy again - and for that, I'll always be grateful. < :D
He sends his love and gratitude for all the prayers, they were very much needed.
Thanks for the update.
That sounds yummy Cindy.
We used to put orange rind in the coffee brewer when I did catering during the holidays.
Thank you Christie.
