Today on this day of thanks...
Atlanta Falcons @ Detroit Lions - 12:30 PM EST on FOX
Denver Broncos @ Dallas Cowboys - 4:15 PM EST on CBS
WHO SHALL WIN?
May all have the Best Thanksgiving ever...to our troops, May God be with you all, may He put his hands over all of you and bring you home safely when our work is done...
Happy Thanksgiving to EVERYONE!!!
What the frig? Mariah Carey?
They should've gotten a country singer from Nashville Star. Or Dolly Parton. Or any notable country singer. Anything better than this pop junk.
And for God's sake woman, BUTTON UP YOUR SHIRT!
I just said something about my tv being blighted by Mariah Carey. I did not watch it closely enough to see how tacky she was, but I am not surprised.
Did you watch them against Philly last year on Monday night? They did worse than stink up Texas stadium.
I bet you can count those games on one hand.
ATL-DET is turning out to be perhapas the worst Thanksgiving game ever.
Was anyone running odds on the chances of Mariah Carey having a meltdown during her performance?
:)
What, no pictures?
This has nothing to do with today's game -- I think it was last Monday night's game -- ABC showed what looked like the "Oneida Nation Gate." Surely this gate is not reserved for members of the Oneida Nation only?
Well, the Detroit/Atlanta game was a bust. Falcons dominated 27-7.
(flips over to CBS) Time for the Broncos and Cowboys game.
Go Broncos!
I am stuffed.
Go Cowboys!
Dallas down seven notches midway through the 1st qtr. on a Champ Bailey INT return for a TD.
TD Big D!
7-7
;o)
That game was painful to watch. It just hasn't been fun watching the Lions since Sanders retired.
US MARINES MARK THANKSGIVING IN IRAQ
"Serving my country is important but losing friend makes me more thankful for what I have and for what I used to take for granted," said Cpl. Brian Zwart, 20, of Fruitport, Mich., who mans a 25mm canon atop an armored personnel carrier.
Others thought about what they might be doing if they were back home.
"I could be sitting on the couch at home watching football with my dad. Instead I'm driving in Iraq," said Lance Cpl. Kyle Maxwell, 21, of Petaluma, Calif. He is spending his first Thanksgiving away from home driving an armored personnel carrier on patrol.
