Bump that!
I like your rants.
Keep 'em coming!
Todd has been exiled from every forum I have ever known him to post to...so far.
I am 100% male, except for my feminine side ( LOL).
It is true that we all get a little queezy having to think about coping with same sex hits. As you say, television romanticizes it, and makes the social venues we inhabit more closed and cold.
The last gay hit I received several years ago had me simply saying outright and candidly, " Not in the least interested!" right on the spot. It hurt the guy's feelings but he took the chance and took the hit.
It seems that trolling has become much more complicated than in the old days , and now forbidden somewhat. I have
a close friend who has a penchant for hitting on gay women
and its a running joke between us.
The net result seems to be a paucity of social grace and warmth compared to the way things used to be.
Capote was an outstanding film. Hoffman and Keener (the latter as Harper Lee) gave incredible performances. It makes for a GREAT double feature with "In Cold Blood."
As for "Bareback Mountin'", I liked it better when it was shown on South Park as "Gay Cowboys Eating Pudding." Larry McMurtry should be ashamed of himself.
Whew! ;o)
Male lesbians I can handle. lol
Personally, I'm going to handle it by staying out of Portland.
Former Mayor, and commie, Vera Katz welcomed GLBTs and the homeless with opened arms.
She even went so far as to say that, if we don't agree with it, then stay out.
So, I will do just that.
"Todd has been exiled from every forum I have ever known him to post to...so far."
I've noticed that.
Sooooo...has he run out of forums on which to post as TBLSHOW?
If you see the screen name "Ann Coulter", that just might be him...but good. ;o)
