Here's the story that explains the pics, although the pics were taken by the young ladies mother.
NASCAR champion Tony Stewart is to add another line to his already impressive resume on 6 January when the Joe Gibbs Racing driver tries his hand at hockey coaching.
Stewart will serve as 'Honorary Assistant Coach' of the Indiana Ice against the Sioux Falls Stampede at the Pepsi Coliseum, located at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, with fans seated in numerous 'lucky rows' getting the chance to meet Stewart and get an autograph.
The Tony Stewart Foundation, which supports numerous local and national youth-focused charitable causes, will benefit from the game as the Ice will pledge $2 from every ticket sold to the Foundation, while two collectible jerseys will be raffled during the game, with the winners also getting to meet Stewart and recieve an autograph. A silent auction also will take place, with proceeds going to the Tony Stewart Foundation. "I've been a big fan of hockey since I attended a Dallas Stars game in Texas several years ago, but having the opportunity to support my hometown team and sit right on the ice will be a very cool experience," Stewart said. "I'm looking forward to greeting the fans and the Ice players, and my thanks go to the whole organisation for supporting the Tony Stewart Foundation."
The beard is a bit scruffy...looks a little like George Michael.
