SO, then, this is a "killer virus", kind of like in the old (good) movie, "the satan bug"?

Cool. I like your idea though. The Hiroshma bomb only fissioned aout 1% of its uranium. If all of its atoms participated in the reaction it would be 1.5 megatons. A 9 megaon W-53 (Titan II warhead) with a 100% reaction would be MUCH bigger. The amount of energy released is not linear. Two critical masses of uranium yield twice as much as one critcal mass. four critical masses yield EIGHT times more energy as one critical mass if memory serves me right.
