Clio should probably be about 8 lbs. It takes her belly a little longer to roll over than the rest of her! She was a street cat and you have to make her stop eating.
Oswald the wonder cat is at his prime weight at 17.5 lbs. He can look over my coffee table.

I can't imagine if Belle weighed any more. It is hard enough to keep her in Fancy Feast as it is. She packs it in and never gains an ounce. Me? I look at a can of Fancy Faast and it goes straight to be thighs! LOL!

Why am I biotite? Isn't it obvious? Because The darker color and density increase with an increase in the iron content. Biotite tends to form in a wider range of conditions than phlogopite which is limited mostly to ultramafic rocks and magnesium rich marbles and pegmatites./smacks forehead
Of course! I should've thought of that right away, my apologies ;-)
Actually, I have a small piece of a really neat type of rock nicknamed "TV rock" (the true name is ulexite). It was given the nickname because it acts as a natural fiberoptic thanks to many many tiny 'tubules' (for lack of a better description) that permeate the rock. If you place it over the page of a book or newspaper, the text appears to float on the surface of the rock, several inches above the paper. Very cool :)

You can be the TV rock. As long as you're not calcite, you're fine with me. Down with the calcies!!! The muscovites...now I don't mess with them.

Well, it's time for my beauty sleep. Since I'm another year older, I need extra time.
Until tomorrow (unless I'm watching Harry Potter)
'Night all. Enjoy the peanut butter and beer.

Wow... I leave to watch the end of the Dallas Stars game only to come back and find myself feeling old because I know Val Kilmer's character from Top Gun.
I guess I'll really be a nerd if I point out that "Sun Down" was played by Clarence Gilyard, Jr., who went on to star opposite Chuck Norris on Walker, Texas Ranger.

LOL.
I had to give the boys a lesson. They're all caught up now.

I've been hearing that the 40's are the new 30's and the 30's are the new 20's.
I'm going to start buying into that.
I'm beginning to think that too. B-)

And what does that mean for those of us in our 20s? Do we still have a chance at meeting women?

Okay... now you've gone and stepped on my turf. I challenge thee to a duel for the lovely hand of Kari Byron! Dang... you can have her.

Yeah, those big furry hats can be a bit intimidating Not to mention that it is the most common mica, found in granites, pegmatites, gneisses and schists, and as a contact metamorphic rock or as a secondary mineral resulting from the alteration of topaz, feldspar, kyanite, etc. Gives me the willies just thinking about it.
