Fresno might give USC a better game than UCLA.

I think that is entirely possible, considering the game that Fresno gave Oregon this year.

Fresno State coach Pat Hill is an excellent coach and will do a great job preparing his boys to do battle with USC. But there is one important factor he may not be able to overcome: the John Mckay Factor. John McKay was the winningest coach in Trojan history (four national championships), but he is also the stuff of urban legends. Though he passed away in 2001, some say he still haunts the USC sideline.
Before USCs win against Oregon State in 2001, J.K. McKay, who is the son of legendary Trojans coach John McKay, sneaked into the stadium with former USC quarterback Pat Haden and spread his fathers ashes along the USC sideline. Call it a coincidence, call it divine intervention, call it whatever you want, but somehow since the ashes of the winningest coach in USC history were mixed in with the L.A. Memorial Coliseum grass, USC has been unbeatable at home.
USC will go undefeated, it will win the national title and Snoop, Nick Lachey and the ghost of John McKay will be there along the way.
