Looks pretty good to me. Can't wait!

The 2006 summer movie season looks pretty meager to me so far, but this, as well as "X-Men 3" and "Lady in the Water", is one I'm looking forward to.

Looks GREAT!

I love that they can use the Brando audio. Also all the scenes with Supes and the sun. That is where his power comes from, I appreciate the symbolism.

I understand that he is missing for a while because he was fighting the good fight out in space for years saving the world once again. The returning soldier? Perhaps a little symbolism there for us today.

The Last Son of Krypton looks like he is in good hands so far.

That and I love Parker Posey, she plays Luthor's henchwoman.

Awesome! cant wait. They got Batman Begins right. My expectations are raised for big blue now.

Symbolism galore! How about, "I sent you my only son". Good grief.

I love the musical score as well. Very Superman-ish.

So, is Brando reprising his role from the 1976 Dick Donner Superman? At least, given expected body decomposition, he'll have lost weight.

I saw the trailer and didn't think much of it. If they have to rely on the old John Williams soundtrack and the old Brando-as-Jor-El voiceover for emotional sweep and gravitas, that tells me that they aren't confident in what they have in the 2006 version.

I'll think I'll just wait for the Dick Donner Superman to come out on Hi-Def Blu-Ray. Besides, Brian Singer's Superman looks too dingy and fruity:

I very much doubt all that; you have to remember that the movie is far from finished, and so the musical score probably hasn't been written yet. This is just a teaser trailer. I don't know about the Brando audio cameo. We'll just have to wait and see.

They should have had smallville's Clark Kent to play the part, he pretty well built and has the superman look.

I don't know how they could improve on the original soundtrack, they left it the same, a good decision IMHO.

I thought he leaves earth for mysterious reasons? Did they state he left to fight for earth?

Word has it that Brando's performance from the original Donner "Superman" film will be used in the new movie. Same for the original John Williams soundtrack. Interesting choices by Brian Singer, but he definitely knows what he's doing, and I can't wait to see the finished product.

I had read somewhere it was some kind of war he had to go fight out in space, thus saving the earth in the process.

Belt buckle is wrong. And the red looks more like maroon. And it looks like he is wearing a wetsuit.
