To: Dashing Dasher

I have seen many women drive automatics with one foot on the gas and the other on the brake. Clearly, this can cause a problem getting one foot confused with the other.

I have never seen a man drive this way. Same foot goes from gas to brake. Impossible to hit the wrong one, unless stoned.

Actually, this is what we call "Left Foot Braking" in the auto racing world.
It's probably used by a GREAT MAJORITY of today's NASCAR, CART, IRL, Formula, etc. drivers.
That is how I was taught in racing school.
