I think the best thing they could do is get the title off of Jarrett - he makes the whole promotion look small time, if you ask me. They have a long way to go: the path is to cultivate credibility first and foremost. Then develop good characters with compelling story lines.
Even the WWE is deficient in that regard, lately.
Yea, I'd love to see the return of several regional promotions. I'm oldschool when it comes to wrestling. Right now there's too much T&A, even though I love good looking women around, the constant procession of bootie carted across the screen detracts from the wrestling ambiance.
I like a slightly seedier wrestling that had a basic credibility to it. Even if some wrestlers were not credible, the championships always had an aura about them. Now, its a cartoon sideshow. I don't care for the direction it has gone and as I said on the day Vinnie Mac won the wrestling war by purchasing WCW for a song, he can only go down from here!
Wait and see.

I miss the old-school ECW. I went to college in Philly, and a few beers on a Friday night at the ECW bingo hall was a good, cheap and entertaining date night!
I miss ol' Joey Styles, and, of course, the quintissential stud-muffin himself...

What Vinnie Mac needs is competition. The best thing that ever happened to WWE/WWF was WCW taking the top talent forcing them to develop new storylines.
It's been almost the same (Except tamed down) from 1998-99. Evil Boss McMahon and his lackey (Kurt Angle or HHH) vs the current face rebel all based on the Stone Cold gimmick.

I would like to see less roided up monsters. I would also love to see less punches and more wrestling. Too bad that won't ever happen in Vince McMahon's WWE. And garbage match junior and Miss HHH doesn't make feel any better about that happening after Vince is gone either.

I agree with you assessment of JArrett making it look small time, but is he not an owner?
