I can't wait to see the first obvious "D'oh!" for a biggie I completely forgot about.
Three's Company utterly sucked. Not even close to being on any list
Titus and Married with Children
Andy Griffith should be much higher, and if British sitcoms are allowed I'd certainly have Fawlty Towers in the top 10.
Amos & Andy?
I dream if Genie.
WKRP in Cincinati.
"I swear I thought turkeys could fly."
I'd move "Coach" to the top 10, and consign "Green Acres" to whatever sitcom hell you have "Pettycoat Junction" in.

haven't checked out sitcoms from the past couple of decades
all that much. Humor seems to have changed. Seem like a lot of stuff strikes me as "smart assed" these days. Different writers?
for instance ...there was episode of "Get Smart" where maxwell smart was questioning these people and one of the people kept insisting he was Swiss cuckoo clock maker And not a Nazi War Criminal. And when war criminal again insisted he was just a swiss cuckoo clock maker...a cuckoo clock he had with him struck three and rather than little bird popping out and going "cuckoo" a little wood carving of Adolf Hitler popped out and went "seig heil!" three times.
Mel Brooks written all over it.
Don't think that gag would fly these days.
It would upset people.
