How does one grow up to have politics that are vastly different than their folks? I mean... I grew up hearing discussion, arguing with my dad, who would always win, and I ended up with politics very similar to his...

Is it just a rebellion thing? I rebelled in other ways.... Like by not becoming an accountant LOL...

LOL rebellion. At 20 I got sick of my parents running my life. THankfully I had a job by then.

It's really hard for me because my family likes to pretend like I'm responsible for the entire Republican party. I argue with them a lot. I used to think politics was stupid but I remember having most of the same beliefs when I was 14, way before I ever realized what the rest of my family believed.
