What is "Texas Toast"?

Texas toast is like regular sliced bread but sliced thicker. I think it's probably made of the same stuff, maybe not, seems slightly chewier. I used to buy Texas toast, it's been years. Now that you mention it, I don't remember seeing it on the shelves lately but it is there obviously since Lucy's been using it.
