And to think women around here would think that a man like that is more appealing than me. The ONLY thing a girl might have to worry about with me, is if my nerves act up a little, (at which point I go outside, or to the bathroom), and I cough somewhat hard. Of course, once I feel comfortable with people, they are not much of a problem... NO worry about drinking, off-color jokes, comments, or the like.....

Still, though, those "brute" types appeal more to women, than I do. I guess my looks scare them too.

After consulting my female-to-male foreign language dictionary, it suggested that "Fine... men are dogs" was the correct response.

The book was written by Maureen Dowd of the New York Times so maybe it's not very accurate.

I have a suggestion, throw the book away! I believe very few men are dogs and certainly no more percentage of men than women.

By the way, aren't you the same guy who said women need to be slapped around from time to time to get their hormones in line? Did you get that from the same book?

He said she kept throwing extra stuff in, "oh I'm out of shampoo, oh I need some of this and that and the other" all of which he was expected to pay for. lol, things really cooled off between them after that.

Stuff like that amazes me. A former co-worker (who was in her forties) used to tell us, "When I was young and 'hot', I didn't pay for NOTHIN'"

Just use your best judgement, pick your moments. I trust you're a smart girl, obviously since you're a pub! You're young yet. I'm sure they still think of you as a little girl. They'll come around eventually. Or maybe not, this is America, they have a right to be wrong.
