Well, there'a always the chance that it wouldn't work out, and he took the risk. There was a lot of online buildup for six months... very serious getting to know each other... and when we met, and he came here and spent a week, we already had our hopes up pretty high that by the end of the week we'd know.
It was clear to us that he was the one who would have to move... I had two horses, dogs, and a cat here in Washington, he lived in an apartment in Minneapolis. Heh... he was more portable :~D
I'd tell if I didn't think I'd get banned from FR!
Tornadoes seem to be a midwestern phenomena but I've heard they had them in all states tho rare.
Upstate New York sounds beautiful! My uneducated view of it is that it has tons of trees. Is it like that? I knew a lady from there, we never discussed what it looked like but she said it's totally different than say...New York City type thing.
I am sorry if that offended you.
Well I am sure you felt like I did too when you were lonely. I am NOT looking for a relationship with a thousand people when it comes to relationships. I only need one.
Oh please. Just because I post here does not mean I spend my whole life here. Anyone who makes that assumption truely does not understand.
I'm not offended, I'm tryin' to help you not sound so defeated when you introduce yourself!
Be cheerful! At least hopeful if you can't manage cheerful. I was lonely a long time. But I didn't attract my husband with the 'poor me's, those I only told to the dog.
Sounds like a good deal to me. Course I would pick the horses and dogs over an apartment any day. Lived in both situations. I'm so glad it worked out for you, inspiring for the rest of us. At this point I feel I've already had it all, the marriage, the kids. I'd really love to find someone to spend the rest of my life with but if I don't, that's OK too. If God wants me to find someone, it will happen. I just have to be smart enough to see it when it does! ;)
Oh I wasn`t,just reflecting on what it seems to take to meet someone.
Ohh.. yeah..
My husband had never been around horses when he moved here, but he now has his own horse, we spent all summer trail riding together, and I just couldn't be happier with how our gamble has turned out. :~D
Hey y'all. How's everyone doing tonight?
That must be all over. My ex sis in law had a beautiful elm in her yard and it died of that. You never see them anymore. I wonder if it's one of those diseases brought over on ships. I understand before 1849 or so, corn never had the corn worms we have. I used to always have a garden and had to spray like the dickens to keep them away. I hated spraying so many pesticides and still ended up getting them to some degree. Didn't bother me too much, I think spraying the pesticides bothered me more but if I didn't, there would be no corn.
Doing alright. Glad you could join :)
Thanks :) Better late than never, right?
Hi!
I had to take a quick look at your home page. Only got to the first sentence! You're a Republican from a family of liberals? Shudder! I guess now I'll have to go back and read the rest, perhaps it's not as bad as I first thought!
Indeed
Lol yeah. My family's pretty hopeless.
Ouch! Sorry to hear that. My parents were hardcore leftists too.
