France Burns and We are Fools to Cheer
4 Nov 05 | self

Posted on 11/04/2005 7:09:39 PM PST by jb6

We are all witness to a historic event, the beginning of the Islamic Jihad in France and the Netherlands, soon to be spread to the rest of Western Europe. As Paris burns, as the Christian infrastructure is being destroyed, as some of the most fundimental historical foundations of the Western world is now threatened, it is foolish to allow negative feelings for past deeds by the French or any other to cloud our collactive judgements.

We should not snicker, we should not cheer, we should not jab them in the ribs. We are Christians, might I remind you, and the wayward brother now suffers and it is a suffering that we are creating for our own future as well. Our Muslim population does not integrate so well as we would like to believe. Furthermore, as the Oklahoma University bombing shows, more then a few of our own children are willing to join that Islamic scourge and bring down the civilization that gave them life.

Instead, as Christians, as something other then petty human beings, we must assist our Christian brothers, be they French, Lebanese, Cypriots, Russians, Serbs, Ethiopians or any other, to fight the very scourge that will one day trully come for us as well.

If we wish to even pretend to be Christian, it is time to act like it. It is time to see these barbarians for what they are, not just a threat to France but to all Judeo-Christian civilization.

We either stand united or we fall one by one, a light of civilization blinking out here and there, until the night of eternal evil and slavery is all that is left to humanity.

So which will it be? Christ and brotherhood? Or pettiness and eternal darkness?

It'd be the best thing that could happen to us.

I agree totally.

The only problem is that both the French government and our own government has the guts to call a spade a spade and take the kind of serious surgical action necessary to excise this cancer from our midst.

THEIR "government" is based on the survival and advancement of the most ruthless.

Ours is based on pandering phoney politically correct milquetoasts who are afraid of their own shadows.

Norman Minetta is a perfect example. But he is one of many.

It would be ironic if we freed Iraq and the French lost their own country to Islam...

I further fear it will take a direct hit to re-awaken out sleeping giant due to the rampant liberal activists in this country. Horrible way to think, I know.

"CURTIS LEMAY HAVE ANY SONS?"

Sure, there are thousands of us, cold war veterans who sat and flew on nuclear alert during the last 50 years. Dedicated professionals, rough men ready to unleash hell and brimstone when directed. All molded after Curtis.

Its result has been stated with haughty arrogance by Tariq Ramadan

Ah, yes. Tariq Ramadan, I believe that is the very same professor who was offered a post at Notre Dame, but was barred from the US luckily, so could not take his position there to poison the minds of the students on that campus.

(What were ND officials thinking?)

Reread the Prodigal Son. Then let us wait for France to call for help. I'd be willing to assist if they call for the help.

I'm not cheering. I think it's horrible and I pray that the French government and people will not stand for it. I pray that they will face reality and see what is happening before their very eyes and do whatever it takes to stop it in its' tracks.

I'll admit that the French aren't my favorite people - or perhaps it's just their socialist government and their idiotic self-righteous and lying behavior I detest - but I do love France. I've travelled there and had a wonderful time. I loved Paris! The countryside was gorgeous and the food was perfect.

Anyhow- I pray for France and for her to be saved from the clutches of the doom that will surely befall her if her government does not wake the Hell up and realize just how wrong they have been (about a great many things) and are.

Me too, but I hope we make them grovel a bit if it comes down to it...

This thread is badly needed. I saw a post tonight that said "Vive le Jihad."

How childish! How adolescent!

* * * * *

We ought to be siding with the Christians in this war, even with those who have become only nominally Christian. At least the French have a sense of the Rights of Man, of respect for women. At least the French have an appreciation for fine art and architecture and music and food.

* * * * *

An Islamic France would be hell on earth, with our veterans cemeteries defiled, great cathedrals converted to mosques, centuries-old fine viticulture plowed with salt, scholars and clergy from Christianity and Judaism hunted and killed, women reduced to chattel, the Louvre burned to the ground, etc....

* * * * *

Ha ha, the French are funny, they can't or won't defend themselves. Ha ha.

But the joke is only funny until they are overrun again. And this time, there will be no one in the conquering hierarchy who will spare Paris from destruction, or negotiate over the release of women and children or French-v-foreign Jews, etc.

Wake the hell up people. At some point, this is not going to be funny, it's going to be damned tragic, and it's going to start out like something we're seeing right now.

Oh, btw, an Islamic France will have a superb little nuclear arsenal and enough reactors to build a gigantic one.

No, Frenchie needs to do more than call again for help. Frenchie needs to beseech the American president for statehood status, somewhere below NJ and MA.

I don't consider events in Paris suburbs to be funny at all. I consider them to be deadly serious. But I'm equally serious about NO American military help for France for ANY reason. They either fight for secularism on their own terms, or change fashion to accommodate new head gear.

History will record that, in 1794, France outlawed religion and re-named Notre Dame Cathedral "The Temple of Reason".

And then Napolean was crowned in a church by a bishop. Might I remind you that our own government, as an example, has the most liberal abortion laws in the world. The hour before birth, its still just a clump of cells.

Western leaders of today are Chamberlains to the max (and not Richards, but since they're as metrosexual as he, what the hail!) It will take the people to lead the leaders, starting perhaps with some vigilantism. What the Euros have that we disdain in America is that they treasure their unique cultures, whateve they might be, however secularized, Americanized, decadent, and they'll do everything to preserve them, you can bet your rap CD collection on it.
