LOS ANGELES - Tyra Banks has gone undercover as a 350-pound woman. Banks wore the fat suit to experience what it's like to be obese."It seemed like the last form of open discrimination that's OK, and I decided to put on a 350-pound suit myself and live that life for a day and see what happens," the 31-year-old former supermodel told AP Radio in a recent interview. "And it was one of the most heartbreaking days of my life."
Banks said she was shocked at the reaction.
"I started walking down the street and within 10 seconds, a trio of people looked at me, snickered, looked me right in my eye and started pointing and laughing in my face," the talk-show host said. "And I had no idea it was that blatant."
The segment will air Monday on "The Tyra Banks Show."
Banks, who had a sonogram on her show in September to prove that her breasts are real, is also planning a Nov. 18 segment on pursuing "a beautiful booty."
She will reveal her own "dimpled butt" and receive endermologie treatment on the set.

If she thinks the discrimination is bad for fat people, try being a white male.

"I've got eyes on the back of my head."
That picture put my eyes out the front of my head.
I'm guessing that's not what she looked like obese.

Ya get used to it sweetheart.I agree, one gets used to it, but, it's not easy.
I should know, I get those same stares, snickers, and fingerpointing from people, and I'm not obese. I just happen to have been born with cerebal palsy, from the waist down.

If she thinks the discrimination is bad for fat people, try being a white male - that is a fact, I sat down at lunch with two female co-workers, the first three sentences out of their mouths were male bashing. I mentioned that male bashing was not appreciated and how would they like it if I said the same exact thing about them. They both just laughed. Don't even get me started on TV commercials.
To: Millee
Yes, Tyra, every year or so a 15-minute-famer or talk host decides to get into a fat suit and see how they're treated. They are shocked. They weep. They learn how oppressive it is, then they go out and forget all they've "learned".

I will refrain from saying what I like about her, but Solson's picture he posted might be a clue.

Sounds like a fascinating show she has there.
One is rarely blessed with brains and good looks. Ms. Banks is a perfect example of that.

"And I had no idea it was that blatant." Except, of course, that it ISN'T, so they must have recognized you and been saying, "Look, it's Tyra Banks in a big ol' fat suit."
