A French voice from the ether... (part 2)

Dear American friends,

Here is a friendly note from... a frenchman! I have posted here before in support of the Iraq war. This message is tilting towards everyone who is concerned about the truth, and nothing but the truth.

You want a strong argument that gives extraordinary and unprecedented credit to Bush’s decision to launch the Iraq war in 2002 ?

You want liberal media to be stung once and for good?

But especially... You want the Democrats to remain speechless and astounded?

The argument below is so powerful, I’m surprised the GOP and the White House haven’t used it yet!

Ok, here is my contribution (quote + link): Guess who said the following quote not so long ago? :

Quote: ************************ “Good evening. Earlier today, I ordered America's armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces. Their mission is to attack Iraq's nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors. Their purpose is to protect the national interest of the United States, and indeed the interests of people throughout the Middle East and around the world. Saddam Hussein must not be allowed to threaten his neighbors or the world with nuclear arms, poison gas or biological weapons. ************************

You'll have to click the link to know who is behind this quote... and there is a lot more iteresting reading...!

http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/stories/1998/12/16/transcripts/clinton.html

Please, use the argument from the link again and again. It’s the most spectacular defense for the war in Iraq you’ll ever find.

Best regards,

French_for_Bush

Hello Richard,

Well the riots are organized by young radical muslim gangs.
It’s not happening in central Paris, luckily… but it’s in the suburbs of Paris.
This is going on usually at least twice a month… and then month after month… in many other places in France where there are suburbs… We are talking about radical Islamists… some are even traveling to Pakistan to learn how to make bombs… The world is crazy.

Thanks for your message Richard,

Without even reading the rest of the thread, I know that's Clinton's 1998 speech of the day that Monica Lewinsky testified before the grand jury.

Oil for food scandal proves that Saddam and money corrupted people in many governments who also participated in the obstruction of intelligence and WMD inspection.
Those same governments, and the UN, were leading opponents of the War on Terror when it included Iraq. They were afraid their underhanded corruption would be discovered subsequent to the invasion of Iraq, which they have been identified with more to be named.

The freedom of millions of Iraqis, and the exposure of corruption which undermined UN sanctions intended to suppress Saddam is just some of the benefits of the prosecution of the war against Iraq.

Liberals just don't get it. The media wants us to forget it and give up. They say too many soldiers have died in vain.
Remember........ if a nation harbor terrorists they are just the same as a terrorist state on the attack. America will fight them to the last suicide bomber. When they die in vain, taking women and children with them satan laughs.
There is no desire in a virgin to serve a splattered body that murders randomly. They are all scumbag barbarians.
Pigs. Their death is not worthy of celebration.

Bump ping. I just wanted to do that.

Actually in France, there's no need to even attempt to disguise this. They all KNOW that this is a battle between disenfranchised and isolated Muslim youth, mostly of Northern African origin (Algeria).

There's a real crisis there on the separation of society. And it isn't entirely economic. It's also cultural as the Muslims do not embrace European society and vice versa.

It's very bad. Unlike the suburbs here, the suburbs there are areas to quarantine the poor Muslim. And they are not liking the indictment which is a life sentence. They do not act like conservative Muslims either.

Now about Paris. So beautiful. In all my trips there, nothing but a pure pleasure. None of the anti-Americanism I've heard about and my French is very bad. (One time a woman asked me for directions in French. Had no choice but to tell her I was from New York.)

France is no where near living up to its credo: liberty, equality, fraternity.
It has however been replaced by socialism, political correctness and corruption.

They are in deep trouble. But they do have a strong element that will not roll over to this element.

This Hungarian leader who may become the National leader is their only hope.

There is quite a lot of French-bashing on Free Republic. Sometimes I'm amused by it, sometimes I find it annoying. People act like France is the only country in the world that is mis-managed by short-sighted politicians. It would be tragic if French culture is destroyed and replaced with an Islamofascist slave society.

France is no where near living up to its credo: liberty, equality, fraternity...actually my "bump" was intended to keep this thread and the dynamite quote which led it off close at hand - Fox News tonight had some clips from the likes of Hillary and Teddy warning of Saddam's possession and use of WMD - I wish the 'pubs would put together a compilation of these including Clinton's quoted here and buy time all over TV to have them played - might put an end to the "Bush lied" BS...

As for France, it seems to me it's a good example of style over substance - beautiful cities, lovely music, fantastic food and fashion, wonderful intellectual philosophizing - but shocking insensitivity and indifference at best to essential human values and aspirations - starting at least as far back as the guillotining of tens of thousands, through the bloody history of their attempts at colonization, including their collusion in the deaths of hundreds of thousands in Rwanda, through the deaths of almost ten thousand elderly a few summers ago in Paris and the brewing trouble with their Muslim population, its almost as though the French love of the finer things in life mesmerizes them into numbness when it comes to reverence for life itself....

Still, my wife spent some time in Paris forty years ago and agrees it's a great city - to visit maybe, but I wouldn't want to live there.....

Please keep us apprised of the situation re: the riots. The shameful part is that France allowed these people to emigrate, and in return they essentially spit in the faces of their benefactors.

On a personal, selfish note: Is there a brand of calvados you would recommend?
