LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Police say Ralph Montano Sr. is accused of having inappropriate contact with a 16-year-old female student at Las Cruces High School. The student told detectives Montano had flirted with her while he was substituting at the school last week. The girl said she flirted with him and kissed him on the neck while he was sitting at his desk.
Montano told detectives the girl had initiated the sex act by exposing herself and telling him to touch her.
Court records state that Montano told detectives he wanted to take responsibility for his actions and regretted that it ever happene
My qualifications for a neanderthal....
1. Calling a Flight Attendant an "Air Mattress"
2. Saying that "Single women are gold digging b*tches".
3. Saying that you must "Lie to women" to get them to go out with you.
All of the above have been done but some of the neanderthals around here in the last week.

All three of those are reprehensible, immature statements. Some guys never develop mentally past their sophomore year of high school.
I remember a few high school coaches being a bit too friendly with females in my school.And felt they were exploiting their position for personal gain,to say the least.
It all boils down to personal integrity,no matter what sex.They are teachers, and mentors, to some children without proper guidance.High school should not be a candy store to these creeps.Any teacher who has inapropriate contact with a student,no matter what their age,should be promptly fired.

Is my choice between being a neanderthal and a metro-sexual? I take neanderthal. The double-standard exists, it is not our fault.
How about making your own path and not being either?
I certainly do not disagree with that.
My point was that he should receive six months less on his prison term (hopefully 10 years) because the girl gladly participated.
The other point is that if it had been a female with a male student, there would only be probation.
Does sound fair to me.
