Troops Still Insensitive to Religion of Peace

There's obviously no limit to the depths of depravity the U.S. military will sink in order to kill the enemy while saving their own skins. According to Australian newspapers, sadistic U.S. soldiers were spotted burning the bodies of Taliban freedom fighters in a twisted ploy to lure their comrades out of hiding.

It's all one big joke to the right-wing chickenhawks, but to the Muslim people the mutilation of the dead is considered a vile form of desecration fit only for civilian contractors and Jews. In accordance with Islamic law, the deceased must be ritually bathed and buried facing Mecca, or they will be reincarnated as 7-ll clerks with hairy foreheads and bad dispositions.

After the infamous genital-mocking incidents at Abu Ghraib prison, and the rampant Quran-mishandling atrocities at Gitmo, one would think that the U.S. military would be a little more careful not to offend radical muslim clerics and Democrat senators.

While human decency requires that we mock and ridicule barbaric Christian traditions like monogamy and pre-marital abstinence, Islam is a rich tapestry of religious customs that must be respected and preserved. It's not too much to ask that troops take a little time out from their oh-so-busy schedule to sponge-bathe the bodies of those they've viciously slaughtered, bury them facing Mecca, and then dance around the sacred yak while a licensed union imam screeches like a wounded hyena through a ceremonial bullhorn.

If soldiers would simply educate themselves about the Religion of Peace, then perhaps they'll come to respect other Muslim traditions as well - such as flying planes into buildings and sawing the heads off infidels.

It isn't rocket science, folks.

Qur’an 8:7 “Allah wished to confirm the truth by His words: ‘Wipe the infidels out to the last.’” (Qur’an 5:72 defines “infidels” as “Christians” in case you were wondering.)

Kill the vermin!

From Jason at CounterColumn:

That the Geneva conventions specifically allow for the cremation of enemy dead for reasons of hygiene.

From Field Manual FM 27-10:

Bodies shall not be cremated except for imperative reasons of hygiene or for motives based on the religion of the deceased. In case of cremation, the circumstances and reasons for cremation shall be stated in detail in the death certificate or on the authenticated list of the dead.

The commander on the ground is a lieutenant. Nobody yet has come up with a better idea. What was he supposed to do?

This lieutenant had apparently made an effort to allow the locals to recover the dead. He fulfilled his obligations to the deceased by attempting to make that coordination.

He fulfilled his obligations to protect his men by having them cremated.

Case closed. The chattering classes should cut the LT some slack. And Time Magazine, which failed to do the reporting necessary to uncover the regulations with regard to the disposal of enemy dead in logistically adverse conditions (I found it in five minutes) ought to refrain from speculating on the course of this LT's career until they bother to download a clue.

In fact, they could have been first to the public with the revelation about the legality of cremation in this specific circumstance. Had they bothered to seek enough newsroom diversity to have a couple of veterans on staff. After all, you have to know the jargon before you can google it.

No wonder the media have a credibility problem with troops.

What is it about this the military doesn't understand? Maybe the Demoncrats should give them more tolerance lessons.

We've been over this subject many times since it came up while back.

Big point was funny how it only applies to them. To them its OK to burn and mutilate infidels bodies.

The second point was "Once they start to stink it's time to dispose of them. The quicker the better."

I think the Muslim terrorists need a little sensitivity training. They need to learn that we flat out hate them (the terrorists).

The LT should face a court martial for failing to mix the ashes in pig's blood. (just kidding.....about the court martial).

I do believe it should be official U.S. policy to bury enemy combatants, killed in action, in pig entrails. Give them something to think about before they get into firing range.

This lieutenant had apparently made an effort to allow the locals to recover the dead.

And logically and rationally, the onus would shift to the Afghan authorities notified.

But Islam suffers a kind of psychotic paranoia...it is above blame. It cannot accept blame or comprehend it. Blame in Islam must shift back to unbelievers (there is no system for blame removal or forgiveness in Islam).

Our world has grown up. We must now face the facts that some religions are destructive and deadly...and require action.

No serious citizen of the world thinks that Nazism should be encouraged or even permitted to gain traction. Same will become the mode of handling Islam.

The killing, destructive, death-loving aspect of Islam must be outlawed. Islam must be defanged or it will destroy this planet.

Our President is pulling up the weeds of Islam, but he is not attacking the source.

Out of one side of their mouth Jews are "people of the Book" and out of the other side Jews are monkey and snakes.

This headline simply isn't true. I've seen numerous pictures of our troops on their knees in prayer.

Oh, you meant that other religion.

Never mind.

So asshats like you lacking either a sense of humor or sense of perspective will overreact.

And then those of us who do possess those characteristics can enjoy a good laugh at your expense.

See? It's really simple, after all.
