Bill Bennett's been playing with some sports analogies this a.m.

So I thought of my own:

A good 3rd baseman, doesn't hang back, waiting for the ball to come to him....that's a good way to get "burned" at that tricky defensive place.

A good 3rd baseman instead moves forward on the ball coming toward him, and takes control.

Similarly, President Bush is at his best when he's assertive, even aggressive. He charges the "ball", doesn't hang back, and leaves his opponents flummoxed.

GOOD A.M. FROM THE SUNNY MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA, BRUISED BUT NOT BROKEN!!!!

Sunny for now anyhow, suppose to rain tomorrow and boy, do me need it. Dry as a bone. Rained once since the storm.

Decided last night, going to panel my 'shack in the back', found some I like, the kind that is used on the OUTSIDE. deep groves, I like the spacing, can stain if I want to.

Now, to find my collection of fishing lures, I am hanging some shrimp netting over the door and hang the lures all over it and I mean I got some old ones too. I also have a reel with a four number serial number as well.

Reid, he irks me to no end and I want to stay on FR so I won't give my views of 'Shuma'. Then there is Trent Lott, I have no idea where he is coming from with his statements, since he got booted from his top post he has been bitter, taking it out on the Prez, ain't setting so good with us here in south Mississippi. Rumor is he will retire and take a professorship at Ole Miss. Then again, if OUR President W nominated Jesus Christ to the court, 'Shauma' and company would say he wasn't 'qualified'.

I hate to tell you this, I got to go to the store and get some eggs, all my chickens are not doing their job so, gotta buy some.

Now, to get ready to do some stuff around here like move the trailer so I can get my 'shack in the back' set up, move some more limbs, feed the chickens, a little of this, a little of that. My prayers are with all in need, which are all of us, hoping that the kind of day you have is the kind of day you want to have. May God be with you all. Toby
