The unwritten, but real, assumption in all reports like this one is that the American people want to pull out and go home. What I want is to WIN the damn thing. I am unhappy with the "death by a thousand cuts" strategy we have followed, particularly since the first debacle at Fallujah. Why, I ask you, do we let al-Sadr live? Why do we LET the f-ing Syrians and Iranians do so much to help kill our guys?
I'll bet a lot of the military in this survey wonder the same thing. They don't want to RUN! They want to WIN!
