Yeah it sure is hard not to. Especially when you are completely alone.

I know. I know what it feels like but sometimes it is better to wait, I'll address this in another clip down below.

Wow. I never knew that it was possible to survive so long on that.

Of course there can be more complications due to kidney failure or other things but it is highly possible to survive decades on it. If you have a connector implanted in your arm, you don't need to search for a good vein all the time and that helps as well.

I have nothing against girls from either country, but I agree.

I know. I think my friend is trying ti rus looking for a girl and he's gotten burned a lot yet it seems like he doesn't learn. One girl he knew had a couple of kids and she accused him of abusing (hitting, NOT pedophilia) and had to spend a night in county lockup until her father told the truth and it was dropped. Another one graduated a year ahead of me (1984, I graduated high school in 1985) who had three kids to three different guys, she was married twice and generally was on welfare from 1984 to this day. She is a do nothing, it's really sad. He also had one that was afraid to drive a car. I think he lowers his standards just to get something even if there are lots of faults. We all have our faults and quirks, but it isn't good for anyone just to take the first girl that comes along. He's a nice guy and I think girls who want something target him out.

About selfish girls and so on, it is all part of human nature, they come from all walks of life and all parts of the world. Let's say if he did hook up with a lady from Russia, she could be the sweetest thing going or she could take him for a ride like any other girl can.

Yes. It seems young men like us are undesirable *sigh*

Well, I don't think age is a huge part of it, a factor to be sure but there is a lot morethan that

I am losing my faith to be honest.

I believe that is a huge part of it. I've been to bars a few times, just to hang wit my buddy and there are times I see the girls go for the guys who are obnoxious, boorish and so on. Well to be fair, a lot of thse girls are much the sameway, like attracts like. Still though, I'll keep being honest, one it is the right thing to do and second, I'm a terrible liar anyways. B-)

I'm a full-time student working on my PhD. I also teach part-time.

What field is your PhD in?

Taht is why I do not go to bars. And just how long should I wait? I do not want to be 50 when I am married. That would only give me 15 to 20 years at most with the girl and would never see children grow up. Plus I wish us younger men were more desirable.

To: Paul_Denton; All

I had ANOTHER fun day today :( I am beginning to tire of these "fun" Sunday afternoons.

It was over events at lunch, this time, that the "fun" started. And YES, Brenda was responsible for it all. It was due to my nerve and sinus problems, and Brenda made me feel LOWER than a stranger, off of the street, There was nearly a fight between us, But I held my cool.

Accounting.

I work in accounting too, accounts payable for a major shipping firm. I check to make sure invoices are paid, scan them into the imaging system and so on.

Yeah, I do see where you are coming from. Thanks to medical technology a lot of people are living a lot longer and in general good quality but it also depends on good genes, luck, God, and so on.

I wish I knew more about my great-great uncle, I'd like to ask my grandmoter if he had any kids, him being 45 to 50 when he got married to that young girl, I think he did. Dunno how long he lived, I didn't get that far. I certainly have questions to ask my grandmother, she will be 91 next year. I think if I had kids at 50, I would have a good chance to see them grow up, my maternal grandmother lived to be 85, my paternal grandmother (referenced above) is still alive, my grandfather's died when they were 65 (maternal, 1901-1966)and 60 (paternal, 1907 - 1967) though. B-( The latter, he smoked like a chimney and drank like a fish. On the other hand my living grandmother's father lived to be 88, he did smoke a lot and made his own wine and my father's grandfather lived to be 92 until he fell down the steps in his wheelchair at the county home. Mom, well she is 67 but many people still think she is 45 or 50. I do say, I would have a fair chance of living to at least 85 if not beyond. I know if my father is still around and I'm 45 or 50 and have my first child, he would joke, "sending your kids to college on the 'Social Security scholarship.'" B-D Then again, life is a chance and if I get married when I'm older and have kids, I would still do so and hope that God keeps me around to make sure they are set for life before I croak. I'm 39 so I'm headed that way. B-) Then again i I marry a girl past the age of having kids, like Judge Roberts on the Supreme adopted a couple of kids, there are plenty of kids that need good homes out there.

I do understand your lament though, when I was 24 or even younger, if I had to guess then to where I would be now, I would think I'd be much further along in that department. I know, that is what really hurts.

I see that, so far it seems the Jungle Cats are among the top teams this year. I remember in the 1970's and 1980's they were kind of tough, IIRC. We play the "Ratbirds" (Ravens) tomorrow nite, we also have "trick or treat," hopefully the Black and Gold get a treat and not a trick. B-) I also watched some of the race but decided to go back to bed to take a nap. Was up late and got up at 8:00 to do some yardwork. Shouldn't have staye up late, there are times I forget that I'm not 18 anymore. B-D

Sorry to hear about the recent fight though. I know the feeling, in my family, sometimes it seem we have our little cold war going on too. B-(

Try the gorcery store, but it takes a lot of self confidence.

You can tell an awful lot about people by their shopping cart contents!
