Here's the plan, just posted in class:
Copious beer with symphonies by Franz Berwald, CFL game on TV with the sound off, then garlic bread, a large chuck steak (a little tough but very pretty, a good size, and inexpensive)and corn. Or maybe I'll cut back somewhat on the beer and drink that bottle of Valpollicella that's been sitting around for months.
When we were at the R.C.A.F. base in France, we used to visit Ramstein occasionally, it was such a beautiful base!

Bock German-style beer with a strong alcoholic content. Dopplebock has yet a higher alcoholic content (6% or more) and Eisbock (made with a freezing process) can have an alcoholic content equivalent to wine.

Actually, I think it's German slang for "Drink, you fool!"

OK. You are hereby cordially invited to visit the U.S. base at Ramstein. I don't know if it's as nice now as it was in the early 60's. You're welcome.

From All about beer:
"Bock" does mean "goat" in German and its not surprising that someone drinking this beer would feel a "kick" and make the verbal connection. Once this was done, a strong association formed between bock beer and the goat -- an association that continues even today.

I always thought that the way Sulu said "yes, Captain" to James T. Kirk seemed suspicious! Don't be fooled, the first time was not to easy.

Ha. Went to Atlantic City for a bachelor party last week with a group of mid-20 somethings (I'm friends with the bride to be's father). Was the last one standing (of course I have a lot more experience).
