Coming past Monsanto in Springfield on the Mass Pike late late at night will get you a sweet smell like plastic and apples.

My late brother-in-law worked at that very plant.He told stories that were,shall we say,quite interesting.

And speaking of smells...we used to vacation in Bradenton,FL near a huge Tropicana plant.If you were lucky while driving down SR 64 near the plant,you'd get a rather pleasant aroma of citrus.

It sure beats driving through Newark.

When I lived in Miami, I lived downwind from the Rowland Coffee (aka Cafe Bustelo and Cafe Pilon) plant. Loved the aroma, beats the smell of a-s that my aunt in Linden has to put up with on a daily basis.
