That all makes sense to me.
Boy, would I love to see Plame and Wilson hopping around in orange suits and leg irons!

The person who appointed Joe Wilson to the mission to Niger also appointed Craig Livingston to be the WH security chief..

He's trying to say that we never did find out who hired Craig Livingstone, and maybe we will never find out who hired Slow Joe Wilson to go to Niger.

He was on TV Sunday on Channel 9's (CBS's washington DC affliate)'Eye on Washington'.
He didn't look too good and was very vociferous when it came to Plame.

Rush said today that Katrina Vanden Heuvel was looking quite haggard yesterday on MSNBC. Perhaps here hubby, Mr. Corn, is in some trouble.
Unfortunately, I do not think this investigation has gone beyond the "leak." I think some unexpected people have shown up being tied to the leak, and an unexpected conspiracy to commit the leak may be suggested by some of the evidence gathered so far; but I think Fitz does not see his job as trying to figure out why The Missus Wilson got her hubby sent to Niger in the first place. That is irrelevant to whether anyone committed a crime by revealing the name of The Missus to reporters. We are not going to get "closure" on how this whole caper went down unless the Administration decides to get to the bottom of it, and it looks like they really don't want to go there. Too many hornets in that nest IMO.

Why and who sent Joe Wilson to Niger? Once this question is answered, I believe the rest of pieces will fit. I wish I could take a peek at the last page of this mystery.

Is there a chance that Valerie had a covert status - that she was in some kind-of operation we know nothing about?
I mean if she was really covert, would we know?
And yes, yes, I understand she was no-longer-covert, but maybe whe was covert-again.

Has David Corn ever looked GOOD? He's not a handsome man so the answer would be . . . nope.

Why is there an investigation to who forged the documents. If this was all about leaks, this case would be over.

Considering Novak's comment on this, the answer would be no. He says that the CIA did NOT urge him or push him to keep the name secret. Now, the guy who supposedly talked to Novak now says he told Novak to keep it secret, but his motive for saying that NOW is his own job security. At the time, Novak said that the CIA did NOT tell him to keep the name secret...which would indicate she was not then, a covert agent.

That would be just and wonderful. But it's hard to believe there would be no "leaks" at all about those people.

Boy, would I love to see Plame and Wilson hopping around in orange suits and leg irons!I believe the correct term is 'frog marched out of the White House'; that's the liberals' wish for Karl Rove.
They've all been celebrating 'Fitzmas' early.
Would that there were bitter medicine in store for the lot of them.

I am listening to the John Batchelor Radio and Eddie Hayes, a democratic from Court TV, who two weeks ago was saying Rove/Libby were in trouble, is now back tracking. He said that Perjury/obstruction over the IIPA no act would not be, he thinks lies over leaks would not be in the interest of a prosecutor. He doesn't think Libby and Rove are the target, but seem to think someone in some capacity at the WH did something. Eli Lake from the NY Sun doesn't think this is about anything.
