Poison guitarist sentenced to jail
C.C. DeVille gets 80 days for DUI charge
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Poison guitarist C.C. DeVille was sentenced to 80 days in jail after pleading no contest to driving while intoxicated.
The 43-year-old rocker known for his over-the-top antics hit a parked vehicle August 24 while he was backing out of the driveway of his girlfriend's home, prosecutors said. He allegedly rammed another parked car, deploying his vehicle's air bags and injuring his girlfriend.

At least CC's a Republican.
"C.C. DeVille sucks. At least according to Guitar World magazine, who voted Deville's 9-minute "Guitar Solo" as the worst of all time in a a new list of the "100 Worst Riffs, Licks & Solos of All Time."
Guitar World describes DeVille's nine-minute solo "completely devoid of taste, structure or steady tempo" and recommends every budding guitarist listen to it because "surely, they can't do any worse."

Dude, I was in jail with C.C. Deville - you know the guitarist from Poison? How cool was that?

I gotta admit I like CC. Not that he's a particularly good guitarist (he's average or below, even I can play almost as well as he can, and I suck) but he's a funny, entertaining guy...and admits he votes Republican.
Poison...one of the hair bands, I would still see in concert to this day. Brett was one of the few from genre of music to save/keep most of his money. He also did right by the boys in his group by touring with them, recently, so they could make a little money.
Brett sobered up...CC actually sobered up for a while, sad to see him fall off the wagon, and yes...he does vote Republican.
Especially if his cellmate "knows a secret down in Uncle Tom's cabin, knows a secret that he just can't tell..."
