Just thought I would start to give freepers a look at some of the sourceforge projects out there they might like. So weekly I am going to pick a small simple project that people might find useful.
This weeks winner is virtuwin a program that brings virtual screen functionality to windows desktops. I thought it was a good place to start for those who might be timid about trying out an OSS project on their desktop.

Hmm..
I have been using Blackbox for Windows, with the most current version being Xoblite, for about 3 years. It gives virtual desktops and it has a powerful right-click on the desktop that lets you browse your computer, any networked computer, or network drive all through "fly-out" type menus. It also hides all of your desktop icons so the background is completely clear.
I recommend it highly.
