What a concidence. I was showing several scenes from "Goodfellas" to my film class today...and this is one scene that is unforgettable!
The writing the acting the staging of course all work to make this scene - and more generally, this film, into one of the all time greats.

I posted 2 quotes....so I assume it was the Pesci asking "..am I like a clown."
a truly powerful scene
the other one I posted here was the one where they needed a knife from Pesci's mother. a hoot. My kids (14, 21, 24) walk around the house sometimes saying..."its a sin...you know...the paw..the hoof". And Scorcese's mother as Pesci's mother was incredible making them some sausage and peppers in the middle of the night before they go out to get rid of the body.
sometimes they walk around saying. " I'm going to get the papers..get the papers".
