Will it be Rocket Launch or Rocket Failure?
Clemens vs. Contreras
Hey!! Who you callin old. We are watching it. Happy to see Chicago finally get into the World Series. :-)
"Is Bernie Mac the MOST famous person there? If so, that is sooooo sad"
You ever been to the Southside of Chicago? I`m sure alot of celebs are staying away from this one.
Beside, most celebs in Chicago are usually Cubs fans.
Yeah, just when the Brewers are on an upswing, Sveum arrives to bring them back down... ;-)
Ausmus on first.
It could be in the cold rain of Boston, or New York, tonight...even colder than the temps in Chicago tonight.
No weather problems in Houston, which will close the roof
no matter what.
Ahhhh, i've just been educated,,,,thank you for the 411
Recent first time to the world series winners...1992 Blue Jays 1997 Marlins 2001 Diamondbacks 2002 Angels
That was a lovely pitch.
Isn't John Cusack also there? I thought he was a big Sox fan.
Time for more shots of Fox stars who just HAPPEN to be at the game tonight. Free promos for the network. Or for whatever movie is Coming Soon To A Theatre Near You.
Anyways, i have never been to the southside of chicago,,,don't reckon a little redneck girl would make out well around there....
Great at-bat, Adam /sarc.
Why couldn't they at least play the weekend games during the daytime? I know there would be competition with college and pro FB, but at least we wouldn't have to look at baseball players in sweats and long johns. I know that TV revenue is all-controlling, though.
Does anyone else remember sneaking a radio into school to listen to the WS?
I'm really pulling for the Astros, but the ChiSox power may be the difference this series.
I don't think I want either side mad at me. :)
Sorry with the delay in my reply to you regarding Josh Groban singing the National Anthem. Having cable problems tonight for some reason. Modem blinking on and off... grr! >:-(
It's Bushs fault. :)
The days of World Series during daytime are long behind us.
The number of Milwaukee baserunners thrown out at home will triple next year.
I remember listening to the 6th and 7th games of the 1968 WS between the Tigers and Cards. Incredible series with Detroit coming back from a 3-1 deficit to win.
I was in 8th grade but kept my transistor hidden well enough to be able to listen until school FINALLY got out.
