TV is terrible tonight! So far the only thing I see worth watching is the silly Iron Chef show.
To: Goodgirlinred
Actually, I'll concede that you're probably right now. But I'm not surrendering...just conceding the point at the moment.
Looking back, I remember there were a ton of lost opportunities for me throughout college...and I guess High School too.

Lots of churches are like that.
Be thankful you found out and are free and not part of the hyppocrisy.
Look forward.
To: ValerieUSA
You look so much like Nicole Kidman, it's scarey.

LOL! No, I had my baby neutered when he was about 3 months old. His breed would be too aggressive otherwise I think. Although his daddy was a sweetheart. Harm is hard to handle anyway. He is very rambunctious. He is an Alaskan Malamute/Siberian Husky/Lab cross. The parents were bred 5 times and the puppies went like hot cakes.
My baby is very gentle, though. He is good with small children even though they might topple over if he just lightly bumps into them while walking past.
He pinned one jerk up against the foyer wall! He was right on the money with that one! He hated another one, but he was only a puppy and couldn't do much. That guy was terrible! So, I trust Harm's opinion. ;)

I got 10, too.
You may or may not have the skills necessary to flirt, but either way you don't employ them on a regular basis. Perhaps you turned on the charm in the past, but are now in a committed relationship and don't feel the need - or you reserve your attention only for deserving objects. Flirting is simply a personal choice - for some it's an occasional pursuit, for others it's an Olympic sport. The most important thing is that you are happy with your ability to flirt - if you know you've got what it takes but chose not to or simply don't care, that's no problem. If, however, you wish you could engage in some harmless (or not so harmless) flirting when the occasion arises, why not test out the waters? Choose a day when you're feeling particularly charismatic and give it a go
you'll likely be surprised at the results. If nothing comes of it, keep trying. Practice makes perfect!

I am still friends with Paul. He will NOT go to any church, however. He has suffered a lot of mental problems, and is now clean, of drugs, and alcohol. His teenage and young-adult years were spent being about as rebellious as he knew how to be. Now, he regrets all of that stupidity. He is about a year younger than me, at 37
I blame Carolyn on his dropping out of church, and then some. I blame her on my ex-communication from the youth group, and many of the subsequent problems that caused. I do think the truth came out a few years later. I have seen Carolyn a couple of times, and she will NOT even look me in the eye-- she just hangs her head, and looks away.
One reason that I even talk about this today, and would preach it from the rooftops if need be--- is to PREVENT someone else from making the same mistake, with another vulenerable teen, in another church, or group.

Forget the past. I am trying to do the same and I know it is hard. However, you are YOUNG and you have lots of time. Get out there and make new friends!

I don't understand any of their reasoning. Most of the scenarios they present are either dangerous to careers or friendships.
If you have strict rules regarding company inkwells and such, you have no choice but to look like a frigid prude in their test.
To: Goodgirlinred
I'm not scarred by the past, just reflecting that there were a lot of lost opportunities. It's like, everyone here is telling me what I SHOULD have done, but it's impossible to go back and redo the past.

Well, if there are no Y's, and you need to check that out, then check out the gyms. See which one fits your personality.
