I think that they will ruminate on this over the weekend and decide that she's over. She will submit her withdrawal one week from today (Friday, 10-28) at 4PM to miss the news cycle.

Does anyone seriously believe that if she does withdraw that the President has the slightest chance of getting an 'acceptable' (to the right wing) conservative nominee through the senate? If anyone thinks for one second that the Republican majority will actually act like a majority and pull the nuclear trigger, they are saddly mistaken. At least with Miers we have a chance that Roe v. Wade will be overturned.
